In this interactive session, focusing on secondary school classrooms, participants will be sharing their knowledge and experiences on the use of technology to foster students’ sense of community. Research-based literature will be presented to discuss the need of building community to support learning in online education. Participants will have the opportunity to use some technologies and strategies that could be used to support the sense of community in remote and online environments. At the end of the session, each participant will have the opportunity to reflect on these strategies and share how they could use them in their learning environments.
