Raise awareness of the current landscape of women in technology in Idaho and the challenges they face both entering the field and then advancing in the field. This panel will discuss topics regarding how to engage non-traditional applicants for positions in technology, how to encourage women to apply for technology jobs, and how to expose students to the various roles available to them. The takeaway of this session is to increase awareness and dialog surrounding how to encourage more young women into the IT professions and how to encourage mid-career women to advance in their technology career.
