Contact Me

I've spent the last 30 years dedicating my life's work to the field of education.  I spent 15 years in the classroom at the elementary and middle school levels as a teacher.  After teaching, I was part of a start-up EdTech business that took my efforts across the state of California training teachers and districts for 5 years on how to implement technology in the classroom.  I was known throughout the state at the time as the "Mobi guy" from our training of the Interwrite pad which later became the "Mobi" interactive pad.  That Interwrite Pad changed the way my classroom ran and became a staple at our school and eventually the springboard to launch our start-up.

I eventually worked as a customer success manager at a very large data and assessment company for 5 years where I implemented their system with school districts. I built standards-based report cards for districts, helped districts transition to standards-based grading, and trained and helped build common assessments for districts.

Now I'm the regional salesperson for Otus (Organizing technology for us). However, I'm not your typical salesperson looking to "close a deal" at every chance I get. While that is important for our company, it is also equally important that I can help provide tools for teacher and student success. It's my passion to help educators use technology tools that will clear the way so they can do the most important job in the classroom, teach! The Otus platform provides a simple UX for students, parents, teachers, and administrators can use efficiently and seamlessly.

If you are interested in Mastery-Based Education or Standards-Based grading, let's talk! We also have embedded a progress monitoring module called Plans that will organize and track any individualized learning plan regardless of IEP status or not. Data and Assessments are also a big part of Otus that helps create a full picture of a student's academic journey.  It's really cool and would love to talk about it.
